Wake County, North Carolina Traffic Ticket Attorney

Traffic tickets can be costly. The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel, PLLC can help you protect your wallet, your good driving record, and your insurance points. It is important to understand that paying your ticket without consulting an attorney beforehand is the same as pleading guilty and the consequences can be costly for your record. Always consult a lawyer before paying a fine in regards to a traffic ticket or violation. Hiring an attorney to appear in court for you ensures that your rights are being looked after. Failure to appear in court for a traffic violation can have negative consequences for your record – in extreme cases the Judge may issue a warrant for your arrest and your North Carolina driving privileges will be suspended. Therefore, hiring an attorney lowers your risk of negative outcomes for your speeding ticket or traffic violation.

When you receive a traffic ticket it is important to understand the consequences on your driving record and your insurance rates. Two speeding tickets or one serious violation like reckless driving can double your premiums, and keep them doubled, for several years. Subsequently, the court could suspend or revoke your driver’s license for months, even years.

If your license becomes suspended or revoked your livelihood could be at risk. Many people, including commercial drivers, rely on their ability to drive legally in order to get to work and make a living. If you face a traffic violation contact Wiley Nickel today for a free consultation: (919) 585-1486.
