Cary NC Police Officer Charged with DWI

A senior officer in the Cary Police Department resigned her job after an arrest in July on charges she was driving while impaired.

Tiffany Dawn Silsbee, sideswiped four vehicles along Raleigh's Boylan Avenue, according to the police.  After the crash it was reported that she had a .09 blood alcohol content.  A Town of Cary spokesperson said Silsbee resigned from the force after her arrest.
