Driving While License Revoked in Raleigh, North Carolina

Getting a ticket for Driving While License Revoked (DWLR) is a serious offense, and you need the representation of an experienced Raleigh traffic ticket attorney from The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel, PLLC.   In North Carolina, DWLR is a Class 3 misdemeanor that can carry an active sentence of up to 20 days in jail and hefty fines.  A conviction of DWLR also carries an automatic revocation of your license for one year.  Additional convictions of DWLR can lead to a permanent revocation of your North Carolina driving privileges.  Most motorists are under the belief that they do not need an attorney to handle their traffic ticket.  While this may be true in a limited number of instances, in most situations, a consultation with a Wake County attorney will keep more points off your driving record and keep your insurance premiums lower than if you handled the ticket yourself.  Contact The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel, PLLC at (919) 585-1486 and find out how we can protect your driving privileges.

Aggressive DWLR Defense in Raleigh, NC

There are multiple ways to fight a DWLR, if you hire an experienced traffic ticket attorney. Can the State prove that the officer had reasonable suspicion to pull you over?  Did the police officer bring an official certified copy of your driving record to court to prove your license was suspended?  Our experienced attorneys are in traffic court on a daily basis and have developed outstanding relationships with prosecutors, judges, and fellow attorneys.  We carefully analyze each individual case and will work with prosecutors to get your traffic matter dismissed or plead down to a lesser offense.  For many clients, a Prayer for Judgment Continued (PJC) is also a great option, and we fight hard to get PJC’s in necessary cases.  We will attend to your case in an expeditious manner and notify you of the disposition of your case once it has been handled. At The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel, our goal is to save you time and money and get you back on the road as soon as possible.
