Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek (Walnut Creek Amphitheatre)

We see many marijuana possession and underage possession of alcohol charges at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre in Raleigh, NC.  Mainly these charges start in the parking lot during a pre-game or tailgating party.  When you are around your car the police have different rights to approach you about drinking and smoking.  If you were charged with drug possession at Walnut Creek Amphitheatre it was probably from an arrest in or around the parking lot.  Generally it is much easier for the police to make a drug or alcohol arrest in a parking lot where tailgating occurs.  The NC ALE often go to parking lots of larger concerts to find underage drinkers and those with marijuana.
