NC Cracks Down on Speeding

North Carolina is about to start cracking down on speeding. Per ABC11, police will start pulling people over for going one mile over the speed limit. Previously, there has been an unwritten rule that police will not pull over speeders if they are going nine miles-per-hour or less. As of March 24, this policy will change.

Areas known for speeding, such as I-540 and Cary Parkway in Wake County, are likely to be targeted by police. If you are speeding at all, you are at risk for being pulled over and ticketed. This could affect your insurance and you could have to pay a fine in traffic court.

If you are pulled over, contact Attorneys Wiley Nickel or Kristi Haddock of The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel in Cary, NC at (919) 585-1486 or at wiley@wileynickel.com. We handle traffic tickets in Wake County. In many situations, we can go to court for you and handle the process so you do not have to take a day off of work or fight for parking downtown.
