Recently I sat for an interview for a documentary about medical marijuana in North Carolina. A link to the documentary is below.
In many states marijuana is legal for medicinal uses. It's legal for recreational purposes in other states. Unfortunately North Carolina does not allow any use of marijuana for medical purposes. Having watched my father die of cancer many years ago I can certainly understand how marijuana can have legitimate medical uses. I encourage anyone interested in this subject to contact their elected state and federal representatives and make your feelings know in an effort to try and get new laws passed allowing for medical use of marijuana.
Just to be clear. Marijuana is not allowed for medical uses in North Carolina. If you are in possession of marijuana for any purpose in North Carolina you risk being arrested and prosecuted.
