Wake County Driving Schools & Defensive Driving Courses

In some cases, people charged with traffic violations in Wake County may be advised, or even required, to attend a defensive driving course.  For example, most young drivers (under the age of 21) issued traffic citations in Wake County are required to complete a 4 hour driving course before the assistant district attorney will reduce or amend the ticket.  Other people charged with speeding at an excessive speed or careless and reckless driving may also benefit from attending an approved driving school.

Fortunately, there are many defensive driving courses options available in Wake County, both online and in the classroom:

Alive at 25 – 4 Hour Driving Course for Young Drivers

4 Hour Defensive Driving Course

Attitudinal Dynamics of Driving – 8 Hour Defensive Driving Course

AAA 4-Hour North Carolina Traffic Safety Course

AAA 8-Hour North Carolina Traffic Safety Course
