DMV License Restoration Hearing Success!

Last week, The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel successfully represented a client at a DWI Restoration Hearing, resulting in conditional restoration of the client’s license.

The client, CT, had his North Carolina driver’s license permanently suspended in 2002 after receiving his 3rd DWI conviction.  When CT came to The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel for representation, he had already tried to represent himself at prior DMV hearings with no success.  We were able to assist him in gathering all the required documentation, which must be submitted to determine initial hearing eligibility, including certified motor vehicle and criminal records from multiple states.  We also worked closely with all 4 witnesses to ensure they were fully prepared to testify at the hearing.  After considering all the evidence offered and the witness testimony, the hearing officer determined that we had offered ample proof to justify conditional restoration of CT’s license.

Under North Carolina law, following a DWI-related permanent suspension, you must wait at least 3 years before starting the DMV license restoration process.  During a free consultation with one of our experienced DMV hearing lawyers, we will determine whether you meet the eligibility requirements and explain the next steps in the process.  We handle DWI Restoration Hearings at every DMV location in Wake County.

If your license has been permanently suspended for DWI convictions, call The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel at 919-585-1486 for a free consultation with one of our experienced Wake County DMV hearing lawyers.
