Wake County Work Zone Speeding Tickets

Unlike a regular speeding ticket, speeding in a work zone comes with stricter consequences.  As a general guideline, if you pay the fine for your speeding ticket, you are pleading guilty.

Speeding in a work zone results in a mandatory $250.00 fine. You might think that it would be easier on you to send in the check and get the whole thing over with. But beware, if you were speeding 15 miles or more over the limit, your license can be revoked upon a plea of guilty.

Hiring an experienced traffic attorney is the first step toward handling your speeding ticket the right way. Traffic attorneys at The Law Offices of Wiley Nickel can help you avoid losing your license and give you peace of mind.

When your ticket is brought to court, the judge may consider a Prayer for Judgment in exchange for some community service to be completed. It is important that you know this may be a requirement to get you a positive outcome.
